Terms of Use
These terms describe the intended use and limitations of PhleboCEAP. By using the app or website, you agree to use it responsibly and within your professional obligations.
Intended use
PhleboCEAP is a documentation aid for clinicians and healthcare professionals. It records, structures, stores, and presents clinician-entered information for Basic, Advanced, and Advanced+ CEAP-2020 coding, bilateral documentation, clinical wording, rVCSS, VSDS, and VDS scoring, and related venous disease documentation workflows.
Not a substitute for clinical judgment
PhleboCEAP does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, or replace the physician's clinical judgment. The clinician remains responsible for patient assessment, final diagnosis, treatment decisions, and medical record accuracy.
Professional responsibility
Users are responsible for verifying any generated code or text before using it in clinical documentation. Users must follow applicable clinical, institutional, privacy, and legal requirements in their jurisdiction.
Regulatory scope and real patient data
PhleboCEAP is currently positioned as documentation support only, not as an autonomous clinical decision system. Before enabling real patient data, the deploying organization must complete a separate legal, privacy, security, contractual, retention, backup, and incident-response readiness review. This product statement is not a claim of regulatory certification.
Availability and changes
The app and website may change over time. Features, supported languages, templates, and App Store availability may be updated, removed, or expanded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for clinical decisions, documentation errors, data handling by third-party apps selected by the user, or outcomes resulting from use of the app.
Apple
Apple is not responsible for the app's content, clinical use, or support. App Store availability and purchases are governed by Apple's applicable terms and policies.
